Opal Neal Davidson

Opal Neal Davidson, 97, a native of Kearney, Neb., and resident of Houma, died at 3:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008. Religious service was held at 11 a.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery. She is survived by two sons, Louis Davidson and wife, Earline, of Houma, and Robert Davidson and wife, Emma Hernandez Davidson of Houston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Gilbert Davidson; her parents, William Jasper Neal and Clara Emma Hahn Neal; one brother, Richard Neal; sisters, Esthel Carter and Pearl Rohrer and numerous other brothers and sisters. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to First United Methodist Church
