Richard “Dickie” Anthony Achee’ Jr., 53, a native and resident of Houma, died at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to service time Sunday at Harvest Cathedral. Memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Sunday at the cathedral.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Trahan Achee’ of Houma; his mother, Mary Elise Cowling Achee’ of Houma; one daughter, Lynsey Frechou and husband, Christopher, of Richland, Wash.; two stepdaughters, Ellen Coffman and husband, Jacob, and Kayla Domangue; one stepson, Christopher Ward and wife, Tasha; four brothers, James David Achee’, Daniel Patrick Achee’, John Paul Achee’ and Samuel Peter Achee’; two sisters, Mary Susan Bourg and Alice Barker; and five grandchildren, Riley Frechou, Jaden Coffman, Brennan Coffman, Brianna Ward and Colin Ward.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Anthony Achee’ Sr.; and his grandparents, James J. “Bugga Red” Cowling and Irma LeBlanc Cowling, Elmore Joseph Achee’ and Vivian Bienvenu Achee’.
He was a self-employed carpenter and a member of Harvest Cathedral.
