Floyd Paul Picou Sr., 81, a native of Chauvin and a resident of Houma, died at 5 a.m. Friday, Sept. 26, 2008.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley M. Babin Picou of Houma; two sons, Floyd P. Picou Jr. and Gregory Picou Sr. of Houma; one daughter, Tammy Johnston of Houma; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Xavier Picou and Edna Lapeyrouse Picou; one daughter, Diana Picou; one son-in-law, George Johnston; two brothers, Hayes Picou and Jean Picou; and three sisters, Loise LeFort Picou, Joyce Bonvillain Picou and Eulice Watkins.
He was a retired supervisor with Petroleum Treaters and a World War II U.S. Navy veteran.
He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
