Robert “Bobby” Patrick Allemand, 77, a native and resident of Raceland, died at 11:45 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Living Word Church. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in St. Louis Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Pridgen Allemand of Raceland; two sons, Mike Allemand and wife, Gwen, of Houma, and Tim Allemand and wife, Cindy, of Raceland; two grandchildren, Ashley Wininger and Jamie Allemand; and one great-grandchild, Peyton Wininger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris Allemand and Ada Knight Allemand.
He was a retired carpenter, a member of Promise Keepers and Every Hunters Club. He was a U.S. Marine veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of Living Word Church.
