Rita Mae Scott Gregoire, 77, died Friday, July 25, 2014 at 08:10 PM. She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Dulac, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 8:00am to 11:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 11:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery. She is survived by her loving husband of forty nine years:Wiggis Paul Gregoire Sr., Son: Wiggis Paul Gregoire Jr. and wife Marissa, Daughters: Merita Solet and husband Joseph Sr.,Leona Self and husband Randy,Rita Martin and husband Larry,Sandy Gautreaux and husband Russell Jr., Anita Cervantes and husband Lupe,Candy Robinson and husband Andy Sr.,Anna Naquin and husband Darren Sr.,Cookie Boudreaux and husband Craig Sr.,Brother: Nelson Scott and wife Rose, Grandchildren:28 and Great Grandchildren:18. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Frank Scott Jr. and Azelia Verrett Scott, Granddaughter: Angel Robinson, Brothers: Norris Scott, Horace Scott, Sisters: Adeline Brunet, and Earline Scott, She was a member of Bayouland Worship Church. She loved spending time with her children and grand kids on her front porch. Christmas was her favorite time of year. She enjoyed fishing and most especially going to church.
