Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11, 2014 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Saturday, July 12, 2014 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 11:00am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial: Terrebonne Memorial Park. She is survived by her, Son: William Troy Blanchard and wife Teresa Blanchard of Stafford VA, Daughter: Gwendolyn Ann Blanchard of Houma LA, Sisters: Arabella Thomala of Castor LA, Wilma LeBoeuf of Gray LA, and Geraldine Muller of Independence LA, Grandchildren: Jason Hughes and wife Jessica, Michael Hughes and wife Glenda, and Chase Blanchard, and 5 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her, Spouse: Elmer Joseph Blanchard, Parents: Lawrence and Ollie Marcell Pitre, Grandson: Stacy Gentry, Brother: Earl Muller, Sisters: Rita Vitrano, and Daisy LeBoeuf. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, a past member of the Terrebonne Fine Arts Guild. She enjoyed painting, sewing, crocheting, singing, and playing music.
