Jean Claire Lasseigne, 77, died Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 10:55 AM. She was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 4, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home and Saturday, July 5, 2014 from 9:00 AM until Service time at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Interment: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her, husband of 57 years, Donald J Lasseigne, Daughter, Cindy Lasseigne Chauvin and husband Paul, Vicki Lasseigne Falgoust and husband Keith Grandchildren, Connely "CJ" J. Chauvin, Nicholas Falgoust and Lauren Falgoust, Sisters, Elaine Daigle Porche and the late Arthur Porche, Mary Susan Daigle Thibodaux and husband James, Sr, Nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and great nephews She was preceded in death by her, Parents, Albert Joseph Daigle and Victoire Theriot Daigle, Father and mother in Law, Wilton "Bill" Lasseigne, Sr and Ethel Babin Lasseigne and Godmother, Amelia Daigle Jackson She was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Jeanie worked for many years at Citizens Bank. She graduated from Nicholls State University becoming a registered nurse. She worked for 40 years as a nurse at Terrebonne General Medical Center and Nursing Care. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her grandchildren were her life. The family wishes to thank the 4th floor and CCU at Terrebonne General Medical Center, Dr. Richard Haydel, Haydel Medical Clinic and Dr. Ralph Bourgeois for their kind and loving care.
