Helen Theresa Lirette, 85, passed away peacefully in her home among family and friends, Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 08:45 PM. She was a native of Chauvin, LA and resident of Chauvin, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 from 9:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her, Husband of 66 years, Houston "Sou" Joseph Lirette, Sr., Children, Christine Robichaux and companion Philip Percle of Chauvin, Houston Lirette, Jr and companion Denelda of Houma, Patrice McGuinness and husband Owen of Brentwood, TN, Robert Lirette and wife Jody of Chauvin, Jimmy Lirette and wife Joseana of Chauvin Grandchildren, Monique, Karen, Pete, Tate, Clay, Elise, Nicole, Ian, Andrew, Anna, Albert, Mindy, Ramsey, Tony, Zachary and Julliana, 26 Great Grandchildren and Sister, Irene Lyons. She was preceded in death by her, Parents, Cleveland Pierre LeCompte and Estelle Ledet LeCompte, Granddaughter, Angelle Lirette, Son in Law, Allen Robichaux, Sr., Brother, Evinse LeCompte, and Sister, Eulice Neil. The family would like to thank Karen McCoy, granddaughter, for countless hours of loving care and St. Joseph Hospice nurses and staff.
