Mary Lee Landry Cherry, 52, a native of Franklin and resident of Gray, died 7:45 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, 2008.
Visitation will be from 5 until 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. Monday until funeral time at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her mother, Louella Josephine Lirette Landry of Houma; her former husband, Gary Don Cherry of Dallas; two brothers, Earl A. Landry, and wife, Loretta; Ricky Joseph Landry, and wife, Lisa, of Houma; and one sister, Menta Marie Pitre, and husband, Jamie, of Larose.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Joseph “Holy Cow” Landry; one daughter, Stephanie Scott; two brothers, Gerald J. Landry and Calvin Paul Landry,
and wife, Diane.
She was a homemaker.
