Evelyn Exnicious Leonard

Evelyn Exnicious Leonard, 90, a native of Bayou Black and resident of Houma, died at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008. LeonardVisitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. She is survived by three daughters, Jeanette Bourgeois, Betty Porche and Linda Arceneaux; one sister, Lonida Pitre; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonce Leonard; her parents, Louis Exnicious and Eva Vallot Exnicious; one son, Bobby Ray Leonard and wife, Geraldine; one granddaughter, Amy Leonard Matherne; and four brothers, Louis Jr., Irby, Luby and Richard Exnicious. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
