Betty Soudelier

Betty Marie Rhodes Soudelier, 75, a native and resident of Houma, died at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by two sons, Michael David Soudelier and Lloyd Louis Soudelier Jr.; two daughters, Barbara S. Robichaux and Susan S. LeBlanc; one brother, Robert Rhodes of Gibson; two sisters, Jean Dorris of West Monroe and Shirley Dorris of Hornbeck; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Louis Soudelier; her parents, Edward Rhodes Sr. and Josephine Dupre Rhodes; one granddaughter, Wendy Robichaux; and two brothers, Roy Rhodes and Edward Rhodes Jr. She was a homemaker.
