Roy Joseph Breaux, 82, died Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 10:00 AM.
He was a native of Bayou Black, LA and resident of Houma, LA.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 9:00 AM until Service Time at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
Entombment: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #1.
He is survived by his,
Wife of 59 years, Lena Mae Landry Breaux,
Son, David Anthony Breaux and wife Darlene Henry Breaux,
Two Grandsons, Aaron and Jacob Breaux,
One great grandson, Jackson Breaux,
Brother, Ray Breaux, and
Sister, Lea Earl Bergeron .
He was preceded in death by his,
Parents, Oscar Breaux and Stella Trahan Breaux,
Brother, Albert Breaux,
Sister, Marion Breaux Trahan and husband Alton Trahan,
Sister in Law Aline Breaux, and
Brother in Law, Raymond Bergeron.
He was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
Roy proudly served his country during the Korean War and also enjoyed some of that time playing football for the Army.
He loved his family and bragging about his great grandson Jackson.
He loved the outdoors, he enjoyed hunting and gardening, and with his green thumb he fed lots of people.
