Roberta Marie Mouton Atkinson, 66, a naive of Melville,LA and resident of Houma,LA, died Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at 8:02 P.M.. Visitation will be from from 5;00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M., Friday, August 1, 2008 and 8:00 A.M. till funeral time, Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Chauvin Funeral Home. Religious service will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories Park. She is survived by her husband, Jim Atkinson of Houma; one son, Shannon Atkinson and wife; Jennifer of Thibodaux; two daughters, Sheila Atkinson and Sandra Beattie and husband; Lynn of Houma; one brother, Billy Jules Mouton of Opelousas; three sister, Irene Richard and husband; Emic, Geraldine Walley and Faye Wood and husband; Kenneth; five grandchildren; Christopher Authement, Brandi Beattie, Heidi Beattie, Austin Beattie and Nathan Atkinson. She is preceded in death by parents, Jules Dominique Mouton and Lilly Menard Mouton, one brother n law; Gaddis Walley. She was a homemaker.
