Ollie Newton Pellegrin, 93, native of Marksville, LA and resident of Houma, died Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at 8:09 P.M.. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. till funeral time, Thursday, July 31, 2008 at St. Gregory Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 31, 2008 at church, with burial at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery no. 2. She is survived by her son; Michael Paul Pellegrin and wife; Susan and daughter; Sydney Marie Pellegrin, also survived by five grandchildren; John Backstrom, Sidney Backstrom, Margaret Duvic, Shelley Pellegrin and Taylor Pellegrin, four great grandchildren; Jayne Backstrom, Andrew Backstrom, Seth Backstrom and Cameron Pellegrin. She is preceded by her husband, Sidney Anthony Pellegrin and her parents; Fredrick and Inez Broulette Newton. She was a homemaker.
