Ray Anthony Dugas

Ray Anthony Dugas, 54, a native and resident of Houma, died at 1:13 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Rita Dupre Kraemer and Peter Kraemer of Houma; his father, Maurice Dugas of Houma; two sisters, Sandra Dugas of Houma and Mary Ann Lusco of Jefferson; one brother, Lee Kraemer and wife, Jessica, of Bayou Blue; two stepbrothers, Peter Kraemer Jr. and Robert Kraemer; three stepsisters, Sally Sopsey, Sandra Chenevert and Susie Davila; one niece, Linette Lusco; and three nephews, Louis Luciano Lusco and Alex and Zachary Kraemer. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alexander and Lorena Scott Dupre and Camille and Ozia Babin Dugas; and one brother-in-law, Louis Lusco. He was a self-employed carpenter.
