Norman Joseph Price Sr.

Norman "Buck" Joseph Price Sr., 93, a native of Montegut and resident of Bourg, died at 8:15 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2008. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Montegut. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Kate Stringer Price; two daughters, Judy Price Lebouef of Bourg and Kemila "Kem" Harvey and husband, Bobby, of Bourg; three sons, Norman Joseph "Butch" Price Jr. and wife, Louise, of Bourg, Daniel Price and wife, Evelyn, of Bourg and William "Bill" Price and wife, Cindy, of Bourg; 14 grandchildren, Russell "Rusty" Lebouef Jr. and wife, Courtney, Ritchie Lebouef and wife, Lori, Robbie Lebouef, Darrell Price, Jerome Price and wife, Nancy, Byron Price, Danielle "Dee" Price, Bucky Price, Dustin Price, Kandace Authement and husband, Roy, Kristen Guidry, Brittany Price, Meagan Price and Landon Price; and eight great-grandchildren, Sarah Lebouef, Scott Lebouef, Victoria Price, Logan Lebouef, Lane Lebouef, Lerrin Lebouef, Kraken Authement and Koy Authement. He was preceded in death by his parents, William G. Price and Aline Songe Price; one son-in-law, Russell Lebouef Sr.; and one sister, Helen Ransonet and husband, Neil Ransonet. He was an honorary and lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
