Laurita D. Ledet

Laurita Bridget DuBois Ledet, 86, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died at 7:20 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2008. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. till funeral time Tuesday at Holy Rosary Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Aubrey Ledet of Houma; two sons, Donald Ledet and wife, Sandra, of Oklahoma, and Randy Ledet and wife, Wanda, of Houma; one daughter, Susan Ledet Zielaskowski and husband, Al, of North Carolina; one sister, Mrs. Lawrence Eula Mazarac of Houma; seven grandchildren, Louis Ledet and wife, Rose, Danny Ledet and wife, Casey, Kathy Ledet Relan and husband, James, Mary Ledet Eaton and husband Eddie, Robbie Ledet and wife, Hollie, Bridget Zielaskowski Pauly and husband, Tim, and Jamie Zielaskowski; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jean Batiste DuBois and Victoria Lirette DuBois; one brother, Use’ DuBois; three sisters, Marie DuBois Hornsby, Leona DuBois Darcey and Eunice DuBois Naquin; and one granddaughter, Kathleen Ledet. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
