Lonnie Bourg

Lonnie Paul Bourg, 64, died Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 12:10 AM.He was born and raised in Terrebonne Parish.  Visitation will be held Monday, April 21, 2014 from 8:30 AM until Service time at St. Ann Catholic Church.Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church.Interment: St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery  He is survived by his,Loving Wife of 39 years, Elinor Champagne Bourg, Daughter, Kerri Bourg Boquet, Son, Marvin Bourg, Jr, Parents, George Joseph Bourg and Rose Mae Dupre Bourg, Siblings, Sheila Bourg Aucoin and husband David, Rodney Bourg and wife Cynthia, Byron Bourg and wife Melanie, Rosalyn Bourg, Numerous nieces and nephews.  He was parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church.  Lonnie was previously employed and retired from Texaco. He was a consultant and superintendent of Denbury Resources. He served in the United States Army during The Vietnam Era. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He was also a member of the Unity Lodge 267 F&AM, The Scottish Rite Mason and York Rite Mason and Jerusalem Temple Shriners. He loved gardening and he also loved landscaping. Lonnie was very much loved and will be missed.
