Gabriel Michael Verdin, 19, died Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 07:30 AM. He was a native and resident of Chauvin, LA.  Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 9:00 AM service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.Funeral Mass on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 12:30PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church.Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.   He is survived by his,Mother and stepfather, Evelyn Verdin Chilton and husband Joshua; father, Shannon Pitre; companion, Gina Marie Boquet; sisters, Jorgi Capps and companion Scott Bergeron, Shea Capps, Caitlen and Heather Verdin; grandparents, Allen and Patsy J. Verdin; aunts and uncles, Delores Lirette, Bettie Thibodaux, Patricia Pitre, David Verdin, Sr., Walter Verdin, Sr., Oris Pitre, Sr., Monica Autin and Nash Pitre, Sr. He was preceded in death by his,Grandparents, Oris and Audrey Pitre; uncle, Glen Pitre; cousins, Justin Naquin and Bertha Griffin.  He was Catholic.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, singing and playing guitar, video games, and playing cards.
