Marion Rhodes

Marion E Rhodes, 82, died Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Houma, Louisiana. She was a native of Houma, La and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 9:00AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Services will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 11:00AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.Burial will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.  She is survived by her,three sons, Gareth Rhodes Jr, Chris Rhodes, Craig Rhodes brother, Russell Thibodeaux two grandchildren, Jeremy G. Rhodes and wife April, Jennifer Lynn Rhodes and fiance Michael Smith and two great grandchildren, Jordan Taylor Rhodes, Lucas James Rhodes  She was preceded in death by her,parents, Abbey and Beaulah Thibodeaux husband, Gareth Rhodes Sr companion of 17 years, Max Melerine son, Ronald Michael Rhodes sisters, Delores Lirette, Hilda Pitre, and Marjorie McMeel  She was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church.  Marion was very passionate about bowling. She was a founding member of the Houma Women's Bowling Association and the Junior Bowling Association. She enjoyed traveling with her bowling buddies to attend different tournaments and playing Po Keno with her best friends. She also enjoyed fishing. Marion was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed by all her loved ones.
