Carl James Bergeron Jr, 53, died Monday, April 7, 2014 at 08:05 PM.He was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home. Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 8:00 AM until Service time at Chauvin Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 10:00 at Chauvin Funeral Home.Interment: Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery  He is survived by his,Wife and caregiver, Tina LeBlanc Bergeron,Father, Carl James Bergeron SrMother, Nelward Pontiff Southers and step father, Richard Southers,Stepchildren, Lee LeBlanc and wife Meghan LeBlanc, and Leah LeBlanc,Sister, Annette DeRiso,nephew and caregiver, Jared Bergeron,Step-grandchildren, Landon LeBlanc, Derek LeBlanc, Erica LeBlanc and Daylan DarDar. He was preceded in death by his, Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Bergeron, Sr and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Pontiff,Infant BrotherStep-Grandchildren: Alaina LeBlanc   Carl’s family described him as the strongest person they had ever known. He fought this cancer battle until the very end in the warrior like style that Carl was. They can only hope to have half the courage, determination, and willpower that Carl had. Although they are relieved he is not suffering anymore, they feel very blessed to be Carl’s family. They will all cherish his memories and legacy forever, and they love him very much.
