Joan Sturdivant Earles, 82, died Friday, March 28, 2014 at 11:05 AM. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Houma, LA.  Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with a Liturgy of the Word on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 11:00AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.She is survived by her Sons: Bill Earles, and Glenn Earles, Daughter: Janet Earles Shaw and companion Gary Hergert, 2nd Daughter: Susan M. Earles, Grandchildren: Laura Earles, Laci Earles Naquin and husband Drew, Jenny Krost, Gwyn Loftin and husband Jessie, Nikki Caspolich and husband Randy, Billy Earles and companion Lindsey Necaise, Shane Landry and wife Brandy, Ryan Landry and wife Amy, and Brad Landry and wife Angel, and Great Grandchildren: Kaden and Alli Naquin, Colby Krost, Jessica, Brooke, and Brayden Loftin, Brittney and Mason Caspolich, and Landen Necaise and Brelynn Earles, Kali Landry, Hayley and Addison Landry, and Kellan and Spencer Landry.She was preceded in death by her Parents: Roland Albert and Mamie Braud Sturdivant, and Brother: Roland Sturdivant Jr.Joan was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother best known for her kindness, generosity, her sense of humor, and smile. She was loved by all who knew her and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
