Joseph Jeffries Blanchard

Joseph Jeffries Blanchard, 69, a native of Napoleonville and resident of Houma, died Monday, July 14, 2008. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Prayer service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery. He is survived by one brother, Ray Blanchard and wife, Nelda, of Rosepine; and numerous relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeffrey Blanchard and Lillian Arcement Blanchard; two brothers, Everett Blanchard and Louis Blanchard; and two sisters, Joyce Blanchard and Theresa LeBeouf. He was retired with Weatherford Gemoco after 25 years.
