Ray Bernard Boudreaux, Jr, 67, died Sunday, March 23, 2014 at 01:14 PM. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 6:00PM until 9:00PM at Chauvin Funeral Home and Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 8:00AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 11:00AM at Chauvin Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Terrebonne Memorial Park.
He is survived by his,Wife of 10 years, Lisa Robichaux Boudreaux,Mother, Wanda LeBlanc Boudreaux, Children, Ray B. Boudreaux III, Sharon B. Womack, Benjamin Boudreaux and Jacob Boudreaux,Step Daughter, Kiri Leigh Robichaux,Grandchildren, Caylee, Megan, Macy, Crislyn and Lexie Cole and Natalie Marie and Caleb Womack and Alisa RobichauxBrothers, Harry Boudreaux, Jerry Boudreaux,Brother in law, Skip BoudreauxSister, Michelle Boudreaux, and Best Friend, Erroll Pellegrin.He was preceded in death by his,Father, Ray Bernard Boudreaux, Sr andGrandson, Zachary John Womack.
Ray was very active in our community. He was a member of the Houma Recreation Board, Director of the East Houma Lions Club, and a member of the Krewe of Hercules. Ray was also a city Marshall and was on the Waterworks Board. Ray served on the Terrebonne Parish Council Dist. 4, was Chairman of the Council for 2 years and Chairman of various commitees.
Ray was employed with Mill Chem as a mud engineer. He was the owner of Mud Mart, Inc with his partner Erroll Pellegrin. He was an entrepeneur in numerous businesses.
