Earl “Sookie” John Thibodeaux,Sr., 47, died Friday, February 21, 2014 at 05:35 AM. He was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home and Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 9:00 AM until Service time at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment: Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery. He is survived by his, Wife, Gail LeBoeuf Thibodeaux, Mother, Gloria Champagne Thibodeaux, Children, Kathleen LeBoeuf and Earl Thibodeaux, Jr, Brother, Todd Thibodeaux, Sisters, Katrina Thibodeaux and companion Travis Himel, Reba Rhodes and husband Brad, Nephews and nieces, Luke Thibodeaux, Kinsie Thibodeaux, Makayla Rhodes and Victoria Rhodes,and Godchildren, Tate Odom, Carson Odom, Colby Odom, and Cristen Thibodeaux. He was preceded in death by his, Father, Earl Joseph Thibodeaux, Grandparents, Willie and Winnie Thibodeaux and Dennis and Justine Champagne, and numerous Aunts and Uncles. He was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. He had a love of the outdoors and was a commercial fisherman.
