Carla Marie Marcel Lyons, 51, died Monday, February 3, 2014 at 04:35 PM. She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Chauvin, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 5:00 PM unti 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 9:30 AM until service time at St. Joseph Catholic Church Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery She is survived by her husband, Kelly Lyons, Chauvin, LA son, Jessi Marcel and wife Sherri, Chauvin, LA, step daughters, Laci Luke and husband Philip, Houma, LA, Hannah LeBoeuf and companion Perry Dardar, Dularge, LA, grandchildren, Jaden Marcel and Jansen Marcel, Brayden Luke, Tristan LeBoeuf, mother, Dolores Mazarac Marcel, brother, James Marcel, Jr. and wife Ramona, Houma, LA, sister, Debra Marcel Matherne and fiance' Hillard Doucet, Houma, LA, nieces and nephews, Brandon Marcel, Brody Matherne, Heather Talbot. She was preceded in death by her father, James Marcel, father and mother in law, Wilbur and Ruth Lyons. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a hairdresser for Belle Amie Salon. Carla was a beautiful, loving, devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, mother in law and grandmother. She loved life to the fullest; opening her door to all. She She was a past float captain for the Krewe of Cleopatra. She loved dancing, partying and having a good time with friends and family. She loved her animals especially her pet poodle, Jean. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her, knew her and had a chance to experience life with her.
