Michael Wadin

Michael Douglas Wadin, 72, born in Owego, NY and resident of Denham Springs, LA, died on Sunday, January 26, 2014, after a battle with cancer. He is survived by his sister, Margarette (Wadin) Cone, step-sister, Kathryn Ainsworth, half-sister, Karen Pagel, and many nieces and nephews, as well as his five step-children, Paul Autin and partner Tony Babin, Michael Autin, Malcolm and wife Donna Autin, Brian and wife Julie Autin, Dawn Autin Dupre and partner Megan Keating, and his nine grandchildren and six great-grand children. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of thirty years, Norma Jean Eschette Autin Wadin, and his parents Celia T. Krum Wadin and Gorden D. Wadin. Mike was a devoted husband and loved his family. He and his late wife Norma were the former owners of Norma's Kitchen in Houma. Mike proudly served his country in the United States Army in Vietnam. Visitation will be held on January 28, 2014 from 9:00AM until noon at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be January 28, 2014 at 12:00PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Burial: Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.
