Karen Haddad

Karen Katherine Kraemer Haddad, 62, died Friday, January 24, 2014. She was a native of Algiers, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be Thursday January 30, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, with a Panakita Memorial Service performed at 7:00 PM. Funeral Devine Liturgy will be at 10:00 AM Friday January 31, 2014 at St. Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Church, 2435 South Carrollton Ave. New Orleans, LA 70118. She is survived by her, Husband of 42 years, Deacon Gregory Haddad, Son, Geoffrey Haddad, Daughter, Ginger Haddad, Grandchildren, Carrie and Courtney Falgout,and Sister, Leah Boquet. She was preceded in death by her, Parents, Murphy Paul Kraemer and Melva Blanchard Kraemer,and Brother, Wayne Paul Kraemer. She was a parishioner of St. Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Catholic Church where she served as cantor. She was also the hostess and secretary at the church. Karen was a past member of the Houma Terrebonne Community Band. She was an active member of the Humane Society of Houma and a volunteer bird rehabilitator. She was also an active member of the Evergreen Lions Club.
