Miguel Joseph Prosperie Jr, 81, died Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at 09:36 AM. He was a native and resident of Montegut, LA. Services are pending at this time. He is survived by his, Wife of 57 years, Dorothy Ellender Prosperie, Daughters, Sandra Dupre and husband Dean, Rhonda Prosperie Voisin, Lisa Prosperie and companion Keith Callahan, Laurie Voisin, Sister, Rosemary Chaisson and husband David, 9 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, 4 Step Grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren He was preceded in death by his, Parents, Miguel Prosperie Sr and Lydia McElroy Prosperie, Brother, Roy Prosperie, Sisters, Ruth Ruiz and Phylis Thibodeaux He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Miguel was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served during the Korean Conflict and he was also a member of the Louisiana National Guard. He loved cooking, gardening and fishing.
