Doris Guidry Schexnaydre McGriff age 86 a native of Lockport La., longtime resident of Schriever and current resident of Ruston, La. went home peacefully to be with her Lord on Friday Dec 20. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2013 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Monday, December 23, 2013 at St. Bridget Catholic Church from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm Mass will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, December 23, 2013 at St. bridget Catholic Church. Burial will be held in St. Bridget Cemetery. She is survived by her husband Harold McGriff, her son Eddie Schexnaydre, Jr. and wife Sharon of Dubach La. and her daughter Susan Mueller Lemley of Boulder Co. Two grandchildren Tammy Gauthreaux and husband Brent of Dubach La. and Jay Morello and wife Jennifer of Lenoir City Tn. and 5 greatgrandchildren. Step children Harold McGriff Jr. & wife Linda of Paducah Ky, Dianne Price & husband Ernest of Houma, La. and Sandy McGriff of Eldorado Ark. and their children & grandchildren. Preceeded in death by her first husband Eddie Schexnaydre Her parents D.A. {Eunice} Guidry and Myrtle Larouse Guidry; one infant sister Leona Theresa Guidry. She was a member of the VFW Auxillary Unit 3700, American Legion Auxillary Unit 31 Houma , La. A charter member of the Catholic Daughters of America-St. Bridget of Sweden and several other organizations.
