Ricky James Pellegirn, 53, died Monday, December 16, 2013 at 12:33 PM. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home and Friday, December 20, 2013 from 8:00 AM until Service time at Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2013 at 10:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his, wife, Veronica Pierre Pellegrin of Houma, LA, step daughter, Jaclyn Billiot Crochet and husband Chris of Houma father, James "Jim" Pellegrin of Houma, LA, brothers, Michael Pellegrin and fiance Wendy Hutton of Houma, LA, Kenneth Pellegrin and wife Stacy of Houma, LA, Darrell Pellegrin and wife Debra of Larose, LA, Mother in Law, Mildred Pierre of Houma, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his, mother, Annie Lee Scott Pellegrin, Father in law, Cleveland Joseph Pierre, his Paternal grandparents, James Alfred Pellegrin and Ada Marie Pellegrin, his Maternal Grandparents, Thaddeus Scott, Sr. and Ezelle Pellegrin Scott. Ricky was employed by Sunland Construction, in Belle Chase, as a supervisor. He enjoyed deer hunting.
