Glo was an appropriate nickname because she filled the world with light. She was a member of Al-Anon for 27 years, a master gardener and loved bird watching. She was a potter, painter and sculptor and attended Nicholls State University for numerous art classes. She enjoyed turning other peoples junk into treasures.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and loved taking her grandchildren shopping on their birthdays. She enjoyed visiting Grand Isle and traveling on her bus trips with close friends. She loved to catch fish. She was a very spiritual person devoted to her family and friends and provided tremendous amount of support and love to her children and friends with her comforting and non judgmental words of wisdom.
The family would to thank Dr. Hayden Lafaye, Dr. Russell Henry, Dr. Robbie Cazayoux and to Haydel Memorial Hospice.
