AVisitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, November 27, 2013 from 8:30am to 11:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. A Liturgy of the Word will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 11:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.. With burial to be held at a later date. He is survived by his, Wife of 44 years: Shirley Verret Francis, Sons: Kerry Ray Francis and wife Natalia Fitch, and Jason Pierre Francis and companion Tracie Chaisson, Daughter: Erica Rae Plaissance and husband John, Brothers: Antione Francis, and Gabby Francis, Sisters: Gertie Verret and husband Leroy, and Cecil Boudreaux and late husband Earl, and Grandchildren: Chance LeBouef, Gage LeBouef, Dylan Fitch, Dasia Francis, Dasan Francis, Darien Pineno, and Ravan Plaissance. He was preceded in death by his, Parents: John and Angelle Solet Francis, Brother: Ernest Francis, and Sister: Doris Verret, He was a tug boat captain on the Philomene P. Perera for Settoon Towing LLC. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. They loved him dearly.
