Walter Richard Jones, 88, died Tuesday, November 19, 2013. He was a native of Fort Myers, Fl and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 9:00AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 11:00AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Burial: Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his, daughter, Laura J. Farr six grandchildren, Jessica, Jeremiah, Holly, Halley, Lauren, Courtney, seven great grandchildren He was preceded in death by his, wife, Eurilda Lyons Jones parents, Walter and Ida Jones son, Walter Scott Jones brother, Basil "PeeWee" Simmons sisters, Cathryn Boudreaux, Dorothy Smitter, and Marcia Fredrickson. He was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church.
