Wilbert Lawrence Boudreaux Sr., 81, a native of Houma and resident of Chauvin, died at 10:19 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2008.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at the Knights of Columbus Home. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by one son, Wilbert Lawrence Boudreaux Jr. and wife, Cynthia, of Houma; one daughter, Jan Boudreaux Collins and husband, Jimmy, of Houma; three brothers, Raymond Boudreaux of Houma, Richard Boudreaux of Montegut and Edward Boudreaux of McComb, Miss.; two sisters, Beatrice LeBoeuf of Galliano and Ramona Boudreaux of Houma; six grandchildren, Michelle Fischer and husband, Edwin, Melanie B. Caillouet and husband, Andre, Michael L. Boudreaux and companion, Angelle Lyons, Conley D. Collins, Cullen J. Collins and Trinity J. Collins and wife, Angelle; and four great-grandchildren, Zachary K. LeBlanc, Dylan C. LeBlanc, Jacob M. Boudreaux and Daelyn J. Collins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Burnette Ledet Boudreaux; his parents, Charles and Annie Naquin Boudreaux; one son, Faron Lawrence Boudreaux; and two brothers, Irvin Boudreaux and Francis Boudreaux.
He was a retired boat captain with Texaco and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
