John Kole Farmer, 14, died Sunday, November 3, 2013. He was a native of Marietta, GA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.and Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 9:00 AM until service time at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Burial: Garden of Memories Cemetery, Gray, LA. He is survived by his, father, Charles "Kirk" Farmer, Jr., Houma, LA, mother, Melissa Smith Sykes, brothers, Charles Kirk Farmer, III, Kagan Farmer, sisters, Kayli Farmer, Kimber Farmer, grandparents, Charles and Joan Farmer, Julia and John Norton, uncles and aunts, Duane Farmer and wife Christina, Lisa Bergeron and husband Kirk, Jamie Farmer and companion Beth Laurin, Joey Farmer and wife Cheryl and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his, grandfather, Charles Smith. He was an eighth grader and honor roll student at Houma Junior High. He enjoyed playing many sports and loved scootering and skateboarding.
