John "Corky" Badgley III

John "Corky" Badgley III, 59, a native of Shreveport and resident of Houma, died at 4:35 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2008. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Religious service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. He is survived by his former wife and long time friend, Cynthia Daigle of Houma; one son, John Badgley IV of Houma; one daughter, Amy Dennis and husband, Jeff, of Houma; one brother, Jerry Badgley of Shreveport; and three grandchildren, Payton, Ella and Ethan Dennis. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Badgley II and Alma Jean Ray Badgley. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Byrd High School, Shreveport, La.
