Joseph Clay Hebert, 104, died Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 02:54 PM. He was a native and resident of Gibson, LA. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Monday, November 4, 2013 from 9:00 AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Liturgy of the Word will be held on at 11:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Burial will be held at Gibson Cemetery. He is survived by his, sons, Allen Hebert, Charles Hebert and wife Barbara, Walton and wife Margaret, Joseph Hebert, Jr. and wife Linda, daughters, Elizabeth Breeden, Valerie Voisin and husband Earl, eighteen grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren, ten great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his, wife, Hazel Boudreaux Hebert, parents, Joseph Hebert and Elizabeth Dumesnil Hebert, daughter, Walterine “Rena” Acosta, brothers, Robert Hebert, Clifford Hebert, sister, Lucille Louvierre. He was a parishioner of St. Lawrence Catholic Church of Chacahoula.
