Visitation will be held on Monday, October 28, 2013 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Tuesday, October 29, 2013 from 8:00am to 11:00am service time. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 11:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.. with burial at: St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery. He is survived by his Companion Hollie Dean and daughter Kiah, First Wife: Jeanne DeHart, Sons: Russell DeHart Jr. and wife Stacey, and Austin DeHart, Daughter: Danielle Little and husband T-Gary, Brothers: Desire DeHart Sr and companion Stephanie, Preston DeHart and wife Rebecca, Kenneth DeHart and companion Tammy, and Chad DeHart and wife Chasidy, Sisters: Rita Duplantis, Brenda Porche and husband Johnny Sr., Penny Lirette and companion Gary, Rinda Matherne and companion Richard, Oledia DeHart and husband William DeHart Jr., and Betsy Matherne and husband Lynn John, Grandchildren: Braxton and Abigail DeHart, and Calley Little. He was also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Desire DeHart and Nora Boudreaux DeHart, and Sister: Bertha Parfait. He enjoyed bass fishing, crabbing, and spending time with his family and friends. The family would like to thank Haydel Hospice for their love and care provided to the family during their time of need.
