Judith "Judy" Myra Aucoin Lirette

Judith "Judy" Myra Aucoin Lirette, 71, a native of Bourg and resident of Jena, died Sunday, May 25, 2008. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Ann Community Center. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Ann Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Donald Lirette Sr. of Jena; two sons, Ralph Lirette Sr. and wife, Debra, of Jena, and Eric Lirette and wife, Nicole, of Houma; one daughter, Vera Lirette of Ball; two brothers, Barry Aucoin of Bourg and Roy Aucoin Jr. of Houma; one sister, Linda Kay Hutchinson of Houma; eight grandchildren, Brandy, Ralph Jr., Melynda, Marci, Chris, Daisey, Billy and Donnie; and five great-grandchildren, Catalina, Branden, Christopher, Elizabeth and Nicholas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Aucoin and Louella LeCompte Aucoin; one son, Donald Lirette Jr.; and one brother, Jerry Aucoin. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church.
