Jerrie Landry Morgan, 71, a native of Port Barre and a resident of Houma, died at 8:10 a.m., Saturday, May 24, 2008.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Bayou Black. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, Mark Brian Morgan and wife, Bernadine LeBlanc Morgan, of Gibson and Michael Sean Morgan and wife, Pauline Aucoin Morgan, of Indiana; one daughter, Merrille Catherine Morgan Carrerre, and husband, Jimmy Carrere, of Houston; two sisters, Alice Thomas Boudreaux and Judy Thomas Boudreaux, both of Berwick; six grandchildren, Anna Carrere, Courtney Carrere, Jimmy "Bob" Carrere, Heather Morgan, Caitlin Morgan and Sean Michael Morgan; two great-grandchildren, Maddie Vetra and Trevor Tackaberry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Winn Brown Morgan; her parents, Alexander Ellis Landry Sr. and Bernadette Duplichen Landry; her brother, Alexander Ellis Landry Jr.; one sister, Bobbie Lee Landry Albares.
She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
