Mildred Marie Authement Shadduck, 83, a native of Chauvin and resident of Houma, died at 5:05 a.m. Sunday, May 18, 2008.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, Perry Rhodes and wife, Carrie, of Houma, and Danny Rhodes and wife, Glenda, of Jonesboro; two daughters, Paula Corne and husband, Louis Sr., of Lafayette, and Peggy Porche of Houma; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcelle Authement and Henrietta Chaisson Authement; one daugher, Irma Rhodes; one son-in-law, James Porche; seven brothers, Wilfred, Wilson, Jackson, George, Isreal, Jimmy and Harry Authement; and four sisters, Lena Pitre, Adele Cantrell, Hazel Pitre and Edna Price.
