Priscilla Evans Freeman, 67, died Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 08:05 PM. She was a native of Napoleonville, LA and resident of Houma, LA.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home and Monday, October 7, 2013 from 9:00 AM until Service time at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
Interment: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.
She is survived by her,
Husband of 48 years, Paul "Chippy" Freeman
Sons, Tracy Freeman and wife Heather of Chelsea, AL and Darren Freeman and wife Becky of Birmingham, AL
Grandchildren, Justin Sims, Bryce Freeman, Carson Freeman, Justin Freeman, and Katie Freeman,
Sister, Kay Stoufflet and
Brother, Michael Evans.
She was preceded in death by her,
Parents, Thomas Jefferson Evans and Millie Gros Evans.
Priscilla Freeman was a teacher in the Terrebonne Parish School System for 35 years. She began her teaching career at Dularge Elementary School, then moved soon thereafter to Dularge Middle School. She then transferred to Houma Junior High School until finally retiring in 2008.
Priscilla was an active parishioner at St. Francis De Sales Cathedral and also a Eucharistic minister for many years.
