Nolan Paul Bourg, 89, died Wednesday, October 2, 2013.
He was a native of Bourg, La and resident of Chauvin, LA.
Visitation will be held on
Monday, October 7, 2013 from 9:00AM-11:00AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 11:00AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his,
son, Gaylen Bourg and wife Joni,
daughters, Mary Lee Picou and husband Conrad, Sr., Lynell Johnson and husband Ronald,
grandchildren, Jordan Picou, Jerome Picou, Nadine Lirette, Conrad Picou, Jr., Corey Roddy, Kevin Roddy, Travis Bourg, Talina Picou,
thirteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, three step grandchildren
brother, Albert Bourg and
sister, Rita Lapeyrouse.
He was preceded in death by his,
wife, Louella Marie Pellegrin Bourg,
parents, Zenon Bourg and Emsey Rhodes Bourg,
grandchild, Francis Picou
brothers, Zenon Bourg, Jr.
sisters, Anna Mae LeBoeuf, Lena Bourg, and
two half sisters and one half brother.
He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He was a Veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion. He enjoyed working with his hands including carpentry and gardening. He was the former co-owner of Bourg and Pellegrin Boat Rentals for 40 years. He will be greatly missed by all family and friends.
