Debra Sue Ciber - (Pepper, Colwart) Anderson, born June 8, 1952 in Elyria, Ohio, resident of Chauvin, LA, has journeyed home to join our Heavenly Father, on September 26, 2013 in Houma, LA. Debbie was an energetic firecracker of a woman; admired and loved by all who knew her. She attended First Baptist Church of Houma, was a league bowler on Tuesday mornings & Friday nights and volunteered at the Chauvin Senior Citizen’s Center in Chauvin, LA. She loved bowling, fishing, gardening, in depth conversations with God while manning her lawnmower, spending time with her family, and red corvettes. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30, 2013 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM at Chauvin Funeral Home and Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 3:00PM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 6:30 pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. She is survived by her husband, Donald “Bud” Anderson, 2 daughters, Karen Pepper Robichaux married to John W. Robichaux, and Kristine Pepper- Naquin married to Shawn Naquin, 1 son, Jonathon Pepper married to Brandi Dupre-Pepper, and 1 stepdaughter, Shannon Anderson,and Ten Grandchildren: Lauren & Jourdan Robichaux, Boston, Dallas, & Memphis Alvarado, Zoe Naquin, Jaide & Bailey Brisbin, and Keaton & Keslynn Pepper. 2 sisters – Carol Parks & Donna LaCoure and 1 brother; Flay Hoyt. She is preceded in death by her mother, Theodra Earline Powell-Long, and daughter, Kelcie Rene’ Pepper. Though her spark has dimmed, the glowing ember of her life will continue to warm our hearts as she is thought of and missed.
