Maybelle Prather

Maybelle Cecile Prather, 81, died Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 05:45 AM. She was a native of Chauvin, LA and resident of Houma, LA. A private service for family and close friends will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 11:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with interment at a later date in Biloxi National Cemetery. She is survived by her, Husband, Walter, and children, Kimberly and Charles, Sisters, Beverly Carroll, Yvonne Daigle, Sybil Boudreaux, Patricia Autin, Brothers, Harold Chauvin, Jr, Donald Chauvin, Grandchildren Alexandra Prather, Phillip Prather, and Ryan Frechette, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her, Parents, Harold Sr. and Irene Chauvin and Brother, Eugene Chauvin She was a veteran of the Navy Nurse Corps. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Cinnater and the Suites at Sugar Mill Point. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations may be made to the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society or the Alzheimer’s, Dementia Association
