Charles Joseph Bonvillain, 86, died Sunday, September 22, 2013. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Wednesday, September 25, 2013 from 9:00AM-11:00AM at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 11:00AM at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral . Entombment: Terrebonne Memorial Park He is survived by his, wife of 60 years, Amy B. Bonvillian son, Stephen Bonvillian and wife Donna, daughters, Janet Eschete, Faye Bergeron and husband Donald, Judy Kelton and husband Stephen eight grandchildren, Alicia Klingman, Jacob Eschete, Shelley Niette, Allison Antill, Derek Bonvillian, Andree Daniel, Stuart Kelton, and Christopher Kelton, great grandchildren, Alexander Klingman, Jolie Bonvillain, Adele Niette, Henry Antill step grandsons, Hagen Niette, Trevor Daniel brother, Edward Bonvillian sisters, Marie Houser, Margret Verret, Kate Theriot, Frances Colwart He was preceded in death by his, father and step mother, Harry and Marguerite Bonvillian mother, Madge Porche Bonvillian sisters, Dorothy Lebouef, Paula Theriot brother, Randolph Bonvillian infant granddaughters, Katherine and Marie Kelton He was a member/parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral and a member of the Houma Knights of Columbus. He was a retired pressman for the Houma Courier and WWII veteran of the US Navy. The family would like to extend special recognition and thank you to Dr. Russell Henry and staff for many years of devoted health care and service. They would also like to express gratitude to all other health care professionals involved in his care.
