Scotty Michael Thibodeaux, 22, a native and resident of Houma, died Sunday, May 11, 2008.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Karen Thibodeaux of Houma; one son, Riley Hamby of Houma; one brother, Aiden Thibodeaux of Houma; one sister, Shelby Punch of Houma; his grandparents, Judie "Noonie" Chaisson of Houma; his godfather, Chad Thibodeaux; his aunts, Sharon Dehart, Shirley Dupre, Cookie Sons and Janet Portier; and his half uncle, Terry Voisin.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Douglas Thibodeaux; his great-grandparents, Morris Voisin and Beulah Voisin and George Thibodeaux and Daisy Maronge Thibodeaux; and his uncles, Bruce Voisin, Tillman "Manny" Voisin, Gary Thibodeaux and George Thibodeaux Jr.
He was a rigger with Royal Eagle and a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church
