Jenny Marie Authement

Jenny Marie Authement, 37, a native of Houma and resident of Chauvin, died at 1:15 a.m. Sunday, May 11, 2008. Visitation will be from 3 to 10 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Chauvin. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her parents, Jennings Joseph Authement and Jean Blanchard Authement of Chauvin; two sons, Kevin Authement and Magnus Authement Jones of Chauvin; two brothers, Darren Authement and Billy Authement; and her grandmother, Theresa DuBois Authement of Chauvin. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Houston Authement and Magnus and Lizzie Blanchard; her godfather, Dale Blanchard; a very special uncle, Larry Blanchard; and her children’s father, Eddie Jones.
