Edward "Black" Joseph LeBouef Jr., 49, a native of Madisonville and resident of Houma, died at 3:10 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2008.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Bisland Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Allemand LeBouef of Houma; one daughter, Jean LeBouef Pellegrin and husband, Derek Pellegrin Sr., of Houma; one brother, Michael E. LeBouef of Houma; and one grandchild, Derek Pellegrin Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Joseph LeBouef Sr. and Martha Cooper LeBouef; two brothers, Paul J. LeBouef and Donald LeBouef; and one sister, Earline M. Cazeaux.
He was a former tugboat captain.
